Common questions

How are points calculated?

Each club turns GitHub activity into points: commits, merged pull requests, pull request reviews, closed issues, new repositories you create, and stars other people give your repositories each earn points. Daily limits stop anyone gaming the board with empty repos or piles of tiny commits. Every club uses the same points, so your score is the same wherever you compete. You can see the points for each activity in any club's settings.

Why don't I see my points?

Your points come from GitHub, so sign in with GitHub (or link it from your profile). The club also needs GitHub connected to the repositories you work in. New activity usually appears within a minute.

How do I join a club?

Open the invite link a club member shares, scan their QR code, or tap + → Join with a code and enter the invite code.

How do I report a message or block someone?

In a club chat, press and hold the message, then choose Report message or Block. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You can see and unblock people in Profile → Settings → Blocked people.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. You can also delete it on the web, or email us from the address on your account.
