Terms of Use

Effective 16 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and JB Web Developer, the publisher of Committed. By creating an account or using Committed, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you download Committed from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where these terms don't cover something.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms.
• Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Only connect GitHub accounts and repositories you have the right to connect.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

Club chats are shared with other people. You must not post, and we do not tolerate, content or behaviour that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
• is hateful or discriminatory toward people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic;
• is sexually explicit, violent, or promotes self-harm;
• is spam, a scam, or impersonates someone else;
• shares someone's private information without permission, or infringes anyone's rights;
• is illegal, or encourages illegal activity.

You can report any message (press and hold it, then choose Report) and block anyone (their messages disappear for you). We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or permanently remove the accounts of people who post it.

Scores

Scores and streaks are calculated from GitHub activity for fun and motivation. They aren't a measure of anyone's performance, and we don't guarantee they're complete or accurate. Everyone is scored the same way in every club.

Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of your clubs so that Committed can work. It's removed when you delete it with your account.

Using Committed fairly

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people's accounts or data, or game scores with fake activity.

Ending your use

You can stop using Committed and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We may change or stop the service, and will give notice in the app where we reasonably can.

Disclaimers and liability

Committed is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, JB Web Developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from your use of Committed. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Committed means you accept them.
